Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) chairman of the Senate Finance Committee said “The bottom line here is we need a final bill, a merged bill that gets 60 votes. Our goal is to pass health care reform not just talk about it.” [1]
We are about to get a health care plan costing trillions of dollars just because it gets 60 votes. Our elected officials get paid from our forced tax contributions are about to forget the fact that WE THE PEOPLE elected them into office and pay their salaries, their health care and their retirement and vote for something that will affect our lives for decades.
Our political system should not pass any bill based getting 60 votes in the Senate.
Our Congress and Senate were created to represent the PEOPLE, not only elected officials. WE THE PEOPLE cannot let this happen!
I have email all the Senators and Congressman and many of the emails are returned unread with a statement that if I don’t live in their district my emails will not be read. YOU must contact your representatives that you and your neighbors elected!
Tell them health care cannot be rushed. Present them an alternative plan. You must not let this happen!
My alternative plan (Click Here) controls costs, reduces costs, covers everyone and starts us on the path towards preventive health care not disease control. This plan can be accomplished with a onetime expense from our tax dollars not taxes from generations. Send them this plan or any plan you want but let them know you don’t want a plan based ONLY ON 60 VOTES!
If your elected officials continue to vote their “conscience” instead of representing the people who elected them, we can and must re-declare our independence. My Declaration of Independence Version 2 (DOI2) I have stated that if our elected officials will not vote for the people, then we must change our system and REMOVE the right for elected officials to vote for anything that spends our tax dollars. DOI2 gives the right to vote to the PEOPLE!
