Bail Me Out Not The Banks!

I am tired of my tax dollars going to the banks. Over $800 BILLION of our tax dollars has gone to the banks. These are the same institutions that find ways to take my money and give it to their shareholders. As Bush was leaving office he started something Obama could have stopped – but he increased it. As Obama and his team contemplate how to put Americans to work, his team –again- thinks giving money to banks will put people to work.

HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO REPEAT FAILURES BEFORE WE LEARN!

As a young boy I touched the stove to learn about heat. If I would have done this as many times as our politicians repeat their mistakes I would have burned off my fingers!

Giving tax dollars to banks so they can “Loan Money to Small Business” is a joke. First – CREDIT is what created this mess – too much to too many people. Second – why would a business owner increase their debt when the consumer has no money to buy their products?

This is so simple. Anybody who reads this – except an elected official – knows they do not have the money to go out and buy things they don’t have to have.

The first blog I wrote for DOI2 is as powerful and insightful today as it was over 2 years ago –give the money to the PEOPLE! First – it is our money to begin with. Second – we the PEOPLE support the banks so giving us the money supports the banks. Third – when we the PEOPLE have money, we spend it. Fourth – when we the PEOPLE spend our money, the businesses do well WITOUT the credit from the banks.

Why do our tax dollars have to go to the banks?

Read the PEOPLE STIMULUS and tell me why it won’t work. When you don’t find any reason, pass it on to everyone you know. One at a time we will turn change into a verb defining action and not an adjective making a politician sound good.
