The confusion about Obama’s health care plan is starting to clear. While Obama himself goes to town hall meetings to “clear up” the confusion, he only adds to the confusion starting AARP is on board when they are not. So the Man himself can’t clear up the confusion.
Now some back door conversations are starting to come into the light – I wonder who is opening the door?
Pharmaceutical companies are spending $150M to advertise support of Obama’s plan – on way to get around campaign contributions. But there are many more possible parts to this story. The pharm companies may have cut a deal which includes exclusive rights to produce drugs that treat illnesses like arthritis, cancer and multiple sclerosis; price cuts and other incentives to get them on board with his program.
Obama should be seeking to get 4 groups on board: the People, Congress/Senate, pharmaceutical Company’s and Doctors. But it appears he is going where the money is. By promising deals with the drug makers, he gets the dollars for the ad campaigns.
