Introduction
America is the only Country in the world where the people fit in 3 distinct classes. But now they have different names – Them, You and Me. Once upon a time, American was known for its poor, middle class and rich. From the 1700’s through the 1900’s the strength of America was its people. Many a President declared throughout different generations that the middle class was the power behind American freedom which was the basis for our democracy. Unfortunately, we do not have the privilege of providing the same legacy to the next generation.
Like you I have listened to many, many voices. Television and radio commentaries, Re-Tea Parties, The Continental Congress of 2009, Patriot Posts, Freedom to Fascism and dozens of other “voices” have let it be known that there are a certain percentage of the population who disagree with the current establishment. I ask only one question – is disagreement enough?
To change anything requires 3 things: 1) Acknowledging the problem; 2) Defining the solutions; and 3) Passion It is felt deep in your bones to the point of pain and agony. You know you have passion when it keeps you up at night. When you find yourself sitting at your desk (if you have a job) and thinking about the problem instead of doing your assigned tasks. You know you have passion when you speak with courage and make your audience think in a new way. You know you have passion when you believe without doubt that when you are sitting in the old folks home decades from now you can reflect back and say “I did” and not “I should have”.
It is easy to identify the problem – the government takes too much and delivers too little. It’s even easier to define the solution – demand accountability from the government. It is hard to combine knowledge of the problem with solutions that You can explain in front of any audience with a passion to create your own chaos.
I have that passion! And I want YOU to have that passion. YOU must believe THEY control YOU. YOU have to see the money you work so hard for is going to THEM. YOU have to see how THEY have stopped creating paths of opportunity and developed a system of reliance and dependency on THEM – exactly according to THEIR plan.
CHAOS NOW is not another voice disagreeing with the issue of the day. We are not interested in responding to the congressional vote going on “today”. We are not interested in the plan for troops in Afghanistan today. Responding to the issues of the moment fit exactly into THEIR plan!
The distractions of our daily lives are not the issue and YOU have no ability whatsoever to change today. You must call yourself part of the ME generation and adopt a pattern of action that represents your thinking.
For example – As I write this President Obama has just completed his 8th summit in 12 months on what to do in Afghanistan and has not figured out what he wants to do. This is not a dig at Obama, but it is the model to develop YOUR passion. YOU will not wake up one day and find a better world. A new sun shine will not awaken your senses to create a perfect solution. CHAOS NOW is catalyst you need to get out of the YOU society.
MY simple explanation of the problem with an equally simplistic solution will define your disagreement in terms that will sink into your bones and convert the feeling of confusion, hate and anger into a passion that goes beyond “transparent change”. It may not happen the first time you read this, or the second, but it will not take 8 times!
I challenge YOU to find a politician at any level of government who does not run their campaign on the basis of “CHANGE”. I also challenge you to find a politician that gives a speech without mentioning “transparency”. THEY are all the same before THEY get into office and then THEY change to be 100% against ME.
I do not want to be one of THEM. The only reason I am writing this is to create a society of WE the PEOPLE. YOU have to come to my side because you cannot win being one of THEM. THEY have been in power for too long. THEIR control is too great. THEIR plan has been perfected for over 100 years. YOU will not beat them by playing THEIR game.
I once conducted a sales meeting where I called in everyone in the company. They were met in the parking lot on a very cool autumn day by a bagpiper (who never stopped complaining about the cold). Everyone proceeded to gather in individual offices until the allotted time when the bagpiper walked through the building leading the procession to the conference room. I certainly had their attention and their curiosity but I did not have their passion. I made very few comments other than to mention we were going to watch a few minutes of the movie Braveheart … I queued the video towards the middle where there was a major battle scene for two important reasons: 1) to convey the concept that business is a battle; and 2) for them to listen to the passionate words spoken by William Wallace (Mel Gibson) that promised success if YOU believed in what you are fighting for. During the short video, most of the women got up and left because of the blood in the battle scene. They couldn’t personalize their professional success with their dreams and visions. At the end of the presentation I simply said “Business is more than competition. To succeed professionally YOU must define your intentions and execute with the intention of defeating the competition to the point THEY cannot muster a defense.”
That company went on to grow from $14M the previous year to nearly $100M the next year. Likewise I have coached many a baseball team and whereas many of YOU think baseball is boring, it is highly strategic. The strategy plays out over multiple hours day after day and I must develop a new strategy to beat the same teams time after time. The complexity of this effort is amazingly simple – yes a contradiction – but it is making the complex simple that provides the basis for developing the plan to beat THEM. If you cannot see by now, the future of America is a society of THEM and YOU.
I do not fit into THEIR world but at least I will not be sitting in the old folk’s home thinking “what if”. I can rest soundly knowing I tried. But together WE can WIN! WE can develop a plan of action equally as smart as THEM but one that does not take decades to implement. We already have our footprint – The Declaration of Independence and the CONSTITUTION of the United States provide the foundation. We do not have to create a massive organization with billions of dollars. A few of us simply need to follow our inspiration – to take that feeling we have now and convert it to intelligent passion.
If you feel the passion and want to develop the words to change your thoughts into action, then join ME. My plan to stop them is a simple game plan focused on the next 3 years. I will not focus on today’s issues because the intelligence behind my passion is the vision of the result of the next 2 major elections. I do not care if you are Republican, Independent, Democratic, or Undecided.
My plan is designed to give each and every one of you what you want. That sounds like another political campaign promise but it is based on the Declaration and Constitution which believes “all people are created equal” and promises” Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The only thing we have to create is our plan to return to those documents which already promise me the freedom I want. Is it the freedom you want?
The only way to disrupt the path that has been established by our ancestors is CHAOS has been implemented successfully by societies since the beginning of man. Chaos has changed societies more than wars have. Chaos is disruptive in how its delivered and where THEY have secretly created schemes to obvert our thoughts from the long term, I will develop my plan of action in the open inviting YOU to join, participate and contribute.
My plan is very easy to understand and follows the three steps defined above:
1) ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM: I know the problems – I work making others rich and this environment is fostered by governmental regulations and taxes. MY society is built around MY professional careers – not MY family. MY community is no longer the center of MY social life because I spend too much time working. THEY have successfully distracted ME from the American Dream where the sacrifices are more than hard work – I have to sacrifice my soul to THEM. I have lost one great marriage to work. My two sons do not have the same values MY father and grandfather instilled upon me because I was working making others rich.
2) DEFINE THE SOLUTION: I have simplified the solution into one document – THE PEOPLES PLATFORM. I have done the hard work for you. I have studied the Declaration of Independence. I have read and re-read the Constitution. I have research the concepts of freedom as it relates to democracies and republics. I am a student of history and accept the reality that history repeats itself. I have adopted the principles in my life that I will not make the same mistakes twice. I will create the platform for the PEOPLE to contribute to the PEOPLES PLATFORM creating the genesis for all that leave the YOU generation and decide that “transparency” really means that the truth is hidden from YOU.
3) PASSION: I have made the commitment to become educated to not only the issues that affect my freedom, but to learn and study THEIR game plan. To know my opponents objectives and what tools they intend to use against ME. I will not listen to THEIR words, but develop MY own. I have transitioned from the un-informed to the informed. I have transferred the pain and agony I feel from simple disagreement to definitive actions. I am committed to convert the word “change” that politicians use to describe their plans to using the word “CHANGE” to define the results of my actions. I am not ready to succumb to THEIR world. I want my sons and their children to live the American Dream that Martin Luther King Jr. talked about not one where the Government and THEIR supporters get rich off my efforts.
YOU have two choices – let THEM win or join ME. YOU are part of the problem until YOU become the solution.
